The bizarre-looking sawfish is related to rays, because it has gills underneath its head. Sawfish don't saw trees! They use their noses to nose around the ocean floor, and to protect themselves. Sawfish have sensors in their bodies that detect other creatures by their electricity! Although related to sharks, sawfish are shy and slow. They can live to be 40 years old and grow to be 20 feet long!
