Invite the whole neighborhood to join your scavenger hunt. Leave a trail of clues painted on the sidewalk. Who will find the hidden treasure?

Gather a few neighborhood friends to plan a scavenger hunt. Will you have a theme such as pirates or superheroes? Who will search? What clues will you use? Will there be a prize (maybe a book a treat or secret message)?

Ask an adult to help you get permission to use neighborhood sidewalks. Crayola® Sidewalk Paints are designed for use on concrete or asphalt at least 6 months old. Test a small area to make sure the paint does not stain.

Paint your clues around the neighborhood. Make sure that one clue leads to another. You may want to number them. Make sure the last one leads to the hidden treasure. Air-dry the paint.

Gather the neighbors (kids and grownups) to join in the fun! Explain the rules of the hunt and enjoy everyone’s delight! Wash your clues away within 2 weeks with a garden hose or rain.
