Announce your party in style! Guests know they’ve arrived when you decorate your sidewalk or driveway with a BIG, BOLD, BRIGHT party welcome.
1.
Ask an adult to help you find a safe, large outdoor area on which to paint your party announcement. For best results, Crayola® Sidewalk Paints are designed for use on concrete or asphalt sidewalks and driveways. Test a small area to make sure the paint does not stain. Use on surfaces at least 6 months old. Make sure you ask permission before you paint.
2.
Post party details on your sidewalk, such as party time and the occasion. For large, block letters, use the 4-inch roller that comes with the kit. For smaller areas, use the So Big Brush, also in the kit.
3.
Decorate your party theme with a cool design. For example, for the Fourth of July or the New Year, you could draw fireworks.
4.
Wash off the Sidewalk Paint with a garden hose or rain after 2 weeks (or after the party’s over). Light brushing with a broom or nylon brush may be necessary to remove some paint.
