What can you do with all those amazing Crayola Neon Color Explosion designs? Cut strips, fold and tuck to make a Fabulous Folded Frame! Add a photo and give it to your Mom.
1.
Crayola Neon Color Explosion lets you create shockingly bright colors on colored paper. Have fun making your favorite designs on the front and back sides of 2 different pieces of Neon Color Explosion Paper using Neon Color Explosion Markers.
2.
Measure and mark one-inch strips going across the width of the paper (from long side to long side). Use Crayola Scissors to cut the designed papers into 1-inch-wide strips.
3.
Fold each strip in half, bringing the ends together. Open.
4.
Fold each end in to the middle crease. Fold the two halves together so the ends are inside. Repeat the folding steps until you fold every strip.
5.
To start building the frame, slide the flaps of one piece into the slots formed by the folded ends of another piece. Pull so they are snug.
6.
Next tuck another piece into this one, but going in the opposite direction.
7.
Keep tucking folded pieces into each other. You can be creative with this frame! Try different ways of tucking. You can always take them apart and try a new way.
8.
When you form a square of 3 nested pieces, add one on to the side to form the next square. Repeat this three times.
9.
Finally, tuck in the last piece and… you’re done! Just add a photo and maybe a few pieces of magnet tape on the back and you’re ready to make your mom smile!
