Design Your View

Design Your View craft

Change your view with Crayola® Washable Window Markers! Today you are at the beach. Tomorrow you're in the jungle. Where will you be next?

  • 1.

What do you see when you look out your windows? What would you like to see? Think about different places you'd like to visit or live. Use Crayola Washable Window Markers to create new views on your window. Be sure windows are securely closed and locked before decorating them.

  • 2.

As you look outside, can you see where the sky ends and the trees, houses, or mountains begin? Draw a horizon line from side to side across your window. Make your horizon line the same as, higher than, or lower than the real horizon line you see.

  • 3.

Use the tip of a Washable Window Marker to outline things on the ground and in the sky in your new scene. A beach view might have a low horizon line with ocean waves below the horizon and a big sun and jumping dolphins above the horizon line. A jungle scene might have a high horizon line with lots of green trees and animals in the foreground and a hot sun peeking through the tree tops. Fill in outlined shapes with the sides of Washable Window Marker tips. Enjoy your new view.

When you'd like a change of scenery, just wipe away the drawing with a damp paper towel. Dry the window completely, then draw your new scene. Look out at the desert, a city, volcano, farm, a magical garden, or blast off into outer space.
