Bike-Rider Challenge!

Bike-Rider Challenge! craft

Hey bike riders! Set up a gigantic driving or obstacle course for your bikes. Watch for tricky curves and speed traps!

  • 1.

Bet you and your friends can’t wait until you are old enough to drive! As bike riders, you probably know the meanings of stop and yield signs, double yellow lines, and many more rules of the road. Let’s see how well you can follow them on your bicycles.

  • 2.

Ask an adult to help you find a large, safe, paved area to ride bikes. Ask permission to mark the space with chalk. Assemble your Crayola Chalk ’n Roll™ using the instructions. Load the Crayola Sidewalk Chalk into the Chalk ’n Roll. Make sure all the tips will touch the ground.

  • 3.

Outline a cool, curvy path with lots of challenges. Use the chalk to mark signs such as stop and caution (snaky curves, dangerous intersections). Post speed suggestions if you wish (slow, fast, medium, or One-Mississippi, Two-Mississippi). Invent fun areas such as Frog X-ings or Re-hydration Zone. Ride with your friends for hours!
