Decorate your dream pillow! Add a splash of color to your room, make them at a sleepover or as a gift!

  • 1.

    Choose a fabric pillow to decorate. Crayola® Fabric Crayon color transfers best on fabric that is 100% synthetic or has a high synthetic content. Crayola Fabric Markers work best on 100% cotton or cotton blends.

  • 2.

    Plan your pillow design and colors with Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils on paper. Decorate both sides!

  • 3.

    Decorate your pillowcase with fabric markers and/or fabric crayons.

  • 4.

    To use fabric markers, draw directly on the fabric. You could use the stencils in your kit. These markers are permanent on fabric. Recap markers as soon as possible and store in a horizontal position. Crayola® Fabric Markers stain clothing and surfaces, C

    Ask an adult to heat set the fabric marker color. Set the iron on cotton. Cover ironing area with paper. Iron on the reverse side, using a back and forth motion, for 4 minutes. To prevent bleeding of fabric marker colors, wash pillowcases separately, in cold water, for the first three times.

    <EM>To transfer your design from paper to fabric:</EM> Brush away crayon specks. Cover ironing area with paper. Place white paper between fabric layers to prevent transfer to the other side. Lay design face down on fabric. Top design with white paper. Fol

    Items decorated with fabric crayons can be machine washed using warm water and gentle cycle. Do not place fabric crayon articles in dryer.
